Flash Fiction – 3/18/2015

“Relax, Carlos. You’re worse than a mama hen.”

“Can’t you see? Cole’s going too far in.”

“No, he isn’t.  You can see him from here.”

“Fine. If something happens to our baby, it’ll be your fault.”

“Okay. Now, can you come here and play?”

“No. I’m keeping an eye on our son. He’s only seven.”

“Aww. You’re so cute when you pout.”

“I’m not pouting.”

“You definitively are.”

“Papa, daddy, look at me,” Cole shouted as he dived in.

Before Carlos was able to run after Cole, Jim picked him up against his hard chest.

“Look, he’s just having fun.”
