Kiss

“…God, I’ve missed you,” I murmured against Indigo’s lips.

Eight months, eight long months I had waited for Indigo to return home.

Shhh, Malic. I’m here to stay.”

A sight escaped my lips and I melted against his strong chest, instinctively wrapping my arms around his neck. He held me closer with one of his arms, cupping the back of my head with his free hand. The kiss was desperate and full of longing.

“The war is over now and we’re safe. I’ll stay in this planet, loving you ‘till the end of days.”

“Thanks to the gods,” I praised.
