#RAINBOWSNIPPETS *~* APRIL 23-24, 2016 *~*

Since I started sharing the snippets from my current #WIP, I have always chosen happy bits. I’m close to the end and I think it’s time to mix it up. Below are some lines of an argument between Clay and Aaron. Don’t worry, there’s hope at the end of the tunnel. Enjoy!

“You aren’t going anywhere. We need to talk. Please, Aaron. I’m healthy, and I love you. We have the rest of our lives to be happy. Please give me a chance to explain.”

“Too late. I gave you a second chance, and you blew it. You didn’t trust me with your health. How could I trust you with my heart,” Aaron shouted, pushing Clay to the side.

Rainbow SnippetsRainbow Snippets is a group for LGBTQ+ authors, readers, and bloggers to gather once a week to share six sentences from a work of fiction–a WIP or a finished work or even a 6-sentence book recommendation.

  1. So many questions I want answered but will have to wait (not patiently) for the release. What is the health issue that Aaron is upset about? Especially if Clay says he’s healthy? Did Clay merely want to spare Aaron any worry?

  2. Hm, I certainly have some thoughts on this. Regardless of what Clay’s issue is, it can be really tricky navigating health issues, especially if there’s broken trust. Speaking of which, I’ll just have to trust that they’ll work it out. 🙂
