I think Elliott has some daddy issues to figure out. Now I wonder who his mother is, but that’s a mystery for a different day. Enjoy!
Week 10 of 52: Elliott’s POV [story continues right after the previous entry.]
“The least you can do after stopping—unannounced—after fifty-three years, is actually to be here. This isn’t Star Wars or an astral projection, and you didn’t have to send your goon first, just bring your rotten vessel with you.” Elliott finished serving the beers and offered one of the mugs to his father, who looked at it as if offended by its mere presence. He let go of it, but his father picked it up before it crashed on the floor.
“Thank you.” Walking back into the living room, Elliot sat on a divan by the fireplace and waited for his father to join him. They stayed silent long enough to finished their beers, and he wished he had the whole six pack with him when his sire started speaking.

I like Elliot, tense moment here.
Good thing Dad has fast reflexes!
tense and interesting, want to read more…:)
Elliot’s dad is rather ungracious, isn’t he? I think I’d have been inclined to tip the beer over him. 😉
Wow…I didn’t picture Elliott’s dad as a beer drinker!
Uh-oh. That last line doesn’t sound good. Can’t wait to read more!
Tense snippet. Looking forward to more.
Oh, yeah, I’m liking this. Giving one’s father hell should sound like this. 😉
