I think Elliott’s dad is having way too much fun talking to his son. Hopefully, soon, we will get his side of the story. Today I’m wondering if he has a significant other waiting at home or if we will need to get him someone. 🙂
Week 11 of 52: Elliott’s POV [story continues right after the previous entry.]
Clawing his eyes out sounded like a great idea. Each word his father delivered, together with that wide smile, chipped a chunk out of Elliott’s patience. He mirrored his father’s posture, the smile, and continued to listen. No, he had no plans to accept this easily. Yes, he knew he needed to marry to keep his freedom. But that didn’t mean accepting his father’s conditions and choice in partner. And especially, it didn’t mean having Vincent in his house, acting like a matchmaker. If he was going to get screw, the least he could do would be to pick the one to do it.
