Happy Saturday! Time to go read last week’s post and see where these two are. I think they are enjoying keeping each other guessing their next move. It’s hard to know who has the upper hand, but I hope they stop playing coy with the other.

“As you know, my dear son, it’s almost time for you to marry. Since you haven’t found your own husband, it’s up to me to select a suitable partner for your station. A man to govern at your side when time comes.”
“Father, as I mentioned before, this isn’t the Dark Ages. There’s no reason I must marry at all and if I were to, it would be to someone I pick or love. Your Kingdom be damn.”
“You know they already are.” Lucifer snickered, enjoying Elliott’s annoyance.
