#RainbowSnippets *~* April 8-9, 2017 *~*

Twenty weeks and I think we still very much into the initial setup of this story. At this speed, by the end of the 52 weeks, we would be lucky to have reached the half point. Unless the pacing starts to move.

This is also a good playing field since the two POVs aren’t from a couple but of a father & son. No, it’s not that type of story. No daddy love in hell. Well, at least that I know. But Vincent and Edgar didn’t want to talk. I think their respective partners are page-huggers. Will see, since this morphed from one love story into to two.

Week 20 of 52: Luci’s POV [story continues right after the previous entry]

“Tell me! Elliott shouted. What did you do to me?

The strength behind those words made Lucifer proud. He shivered from head to toe, basking in his son’s power. This. This is what he needed to get their existence back on track. Finally, the time had set in their favor and a new beginning was ready to start for their legions. A royal tracker had risen, and with him, the opportunity to challenge the Almighty for those trapped. Lucifer closed his eyes and tried his connection to Edgar. For the first time in centuries, it pulled back on him. “We are coming for you,” he murmured before pulling away from Elliott’s hold. Strength or not, he still was the underworld’s regent.

Rainbow SnippetsRainbow Snippets is a group for LGBTQ+ authors, readers, and bloggers to gather once a week to share six sentences from a work of fiction–a WIP or a finished work or even a 6-sentence book recommendation.

  1. I love books with 2 or even 3 love stories in one and of course there’s the novelty of POVs not being the ones of two lovers. I kind of wish this was not a 52 week project but a 3-month one or something. 😉

  2. Wow. I love the interactions between them. As much as I enjoy a good couples relationship, I almost prefer the dynamics of family more often than not.

  3. I’ve always had a soft spot for Lucifer. It’s great to see that he not only gets a love interest but a son too. Go Lucy. And Go Elliott too. Can’t be easy to stand up to your father, especially when he’s ruler of Hell
