Prescribed Discipline

#TeaserTuesday – 4/10/2017 – Prescribed Discipline

I wrote the first draft for Prescribed Discipline almost two years ago. I keep putting aside because I want to extend book #1 in the Exhibits series, Graphic Exposure, first. For the next couple of days, I’d be reading over the manuscript to see what would happen with it, in the meantime, enjoy the [unedited] opening lines.

Prescribed Discipline

30 Weeks of Kink: Week #3 – 1/19/2017

Week 3: How did you discover you were kinky?

I discovered BDSM through reading. The first story I read was Lorcan’s Desire by S.J.D. Peterson back in 2013 and haven’t stopped since. The more I read, the more interested I was in knowing more. That’s when I joined the BDSM group on Goodreads.

A couple of days later, I received their newsletter with the announcement of their first writing event, and the rest is history. I wrote two stories for the 2015 Kink on Ink series, Binding Jax’s Heart, which I’m expanding at the moment. It was later selected as a Bedtime Story and a scene was narrated. You can listen to it here.

Also, I wrote Graphic Exposure, which gets its expansion in the next couple of months. It’s now the start of the Exhibits series and book #2, Prescribed Discipline is getting ready for submission as we speak. This year, I wrote Uncle! which is available for free on Instafreebie when you join my newsletter, Lila’s Monthly Musings.

With each book I read or write, I learn a bit more about BDSM. It’s a fascinating lifestyle. One that suits my dominant personality. 🙂

#RAINBOWSNIPPETS *~* FEB 6-7, 2016 *~*

As promised, this month’s snippets would be from Prescribed Discipline; book #2 in the Exhibits Series. You will meet two men important to West, the genderfluid Dom in Graphic Exposure. His father, August and West’s best friend, Lucas. I completed the first draft for #NaNoWriMo 2015 and it’s in queue to be edit during late Spring. It’s raw, so I apologize in advance for any grammatical/orthographical horror [error].

He wanted to bring him close and lose himself on those stormy eyes, but the man just straightened his well-tailored suit and walked away without a word.  He heard West laughing behind him as the retreating man shook his head.

“Who was that piece of ass?”

“Oh wow, Lucas. Please don’t,” West said, still smiling.

“You know I like a good challenge. He may be older than my regular tricks, but I see potential.”

“That, Master Lucas, is Dr. August Danielson, West’s father,” Shaun said, mockingly.
