“He’s beautiful, Luci. Over all these centuries, I never imagined I’d have a chance to meet him.”

“I hope you know I’ll do anything to have you back. Elliott looks like a darker version of you.” Lucifer smiled when Edgar cupped Elliott’s cheek in his hand, “but he has my hair and eyes.”

Parents always get interrupted by their kids, at least once. Well, their banter in this case. I guess not even Lucifer is immune.

Week 25 of 52: Luci’s POV [story continues right after the previous entry]

“Only you could, my dear.” Now that the smile was back, he could take a second to enjoy the picture Edgar painted for him. “I know what you’re thinking,” the bastard said, interrupting Lucifer’s thoughts. “Yes, everything is falling into place, and when the time is right, I’ll get you back.”

“And I’ll be waiting—”

Lucifer followed Edgar’s gaze and saw the adoration on his face when he saw Elliott. And the accompanying smirk when he noticed Vincent on his knees.

He tried to reach for Edgar, but nothing happened. That beautiful smile dimmed, making his gut churned.

“Relax, Luci. What you see is our connection bringing me to you. I’m not ‘here, here’ as you think. I’m still trapped.” Lucifer huffed, but let Edgar continue. “Don’t huff at me, you big bad. Someday I’d be back at your side and I’d redden your hide and have you on your knees before you blink.”

This story is definitely more fun that I was expecting. Also, it’s giving me ideas for a possible extension in the near future. The next couple of weeks are going to be interesting since I have an idea of where the things are going for the next two or three snippets. Will see if the characters don’t change their minds before then.

It brought the best on him and he hated. He was glad for his frozen state. At least that way he didn’t had to return the beautiful smile in front of him. The one causing his heart to start thawing for the first time in centuries. His love hadn’t changed. Edgar still the only demon with the power to bring him to his knees. Fucking Hell indeed.

Happy Earth Day!

I wonder if Luci would celebrate Earth Day. I can see him wearing cute gardening gloves as he uses his victims remains to fertilize his flower beds. Well…that sounds like a great epilogue. 🙂

Week 22 of 52: Luci’s POV [story continues right after the previous entry]

The intoxicating force reminded Lucifer of his need to select a new demon to stand by his side, but the only one he wanted needed rescuing. Instead, he called Edgar’s lineage to his side. A chilled ran through Lucifer and he tried to stand, but nothing happened. He looked for Vincent, but he was frozen in time by Elliott’s feet. Nothing in the room moved, and he knew what sinners meant when they said that Hell was a warm awakening.
